Believers/Muslims should be aware of the “Ex-Muslim” or Hypocrite stratagem who seek to spread confusion and corruption amongst the faithful - the real motive for infiltrating the communities of the faithful
in the first place. They spend from their resources and are determined and patient in what they do, waiting for the prime opportunity to cause the most chaos and confusion amongst the faithful. This has been used in the past and present. Some of the People of the Book say, ‘At the beginning of the day, believe in what has been revealed to these believers [the Muslims], then at the end of the day reject it, so that they too may turn back [3:72]
Although hypocrites are not believers, they seek to portray themselves as true believers, to make use of the opportunities it offers to them. Their true nature often emerges in times of adversity. This indicates that they remain
alongside the faithful for the sake of their own interests only.
And among people is he who worships Allah on the borderline; if any good befalls him, he is satisfied; but if a trial
afflicts him, he utterly turns away. He will incur the loss of this world and the Hereafter. That indeed is a clear loss. [22:11]
Needless to say not all “Ex-Muslims” are conspirators but justifiably
have doubts regarding the so called religion known as Islam [practiced by most Muslims today] invented after the demise of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings upon him) alluded to in God's Message in the Quran:
And Muhammed is but a messenger, like many messengers who have passed before him. If he dies or is killed will you turn back on your heels? And whoever turns back on his heels, he will not harm God in
the least. And God will recompense the thankful. [3:144]
Furthermore: And whoever follows other than submission to God as a system [al-islami deenan], it will not be accepted from him, and in the Hereafter he is of the losers. [3:85]
Thus the Muslims are obliged and have the responsibility to resume the
system of God as sanctioned by God’s revealed message, that is espoused by all the Prophets, culminating in the ministry of the final Prophet, Muhammad (peace and blessings upon them all).
as such, We have made you a balanced nation so that you may be witness over the people, and that the messenger may be witness over you. And We did not make the focal point that you became on except to distinguish
who follows the messenger from those who will turn on their heels. It was a great thing indeed except for those whom God had guided; God was not to waste your belief. God is Merciful and Compassionate over the
However, the vast majority of Muslims unwittingly do not follow the system of God as conveyed by Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) but follow a system of various ideologies gradually incorporated
into the system of God after the demise of the Prophet (peace be upon him) – rather inconspicuously this is what became institutionally known as the ‘orthodox’ religion of Islam in contemporary times. This was further reinforced by apocryphal
'secondary sources' [extra-Quranic].
This is why the Prophet will complain on the Day of Judgment:
"O my Lord! Truly my people (Arabic: Qawmi)
took this Quran for just foolish nonsense / of no account / abandoned it / forsaken it (Arabic: Mahjura) [25:30].
Undeniably, the distorted version of institutionalized religion of Islam condoned and practiced by unwitting Muslims in the main - no doubt plays a leading role in Muslims straying
from the system of God.
And Allah knows best.
